Dale Arnold Lewis is a British-born artist and illustrator who studied at the Bristol University of the West of England and the University of Wales. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in 2001 and has created numerous illustrations for soft furnishing and greeting card companies in the UK. In 2001, he relocated to Wales, where he drew inspiration from the rugged North Wales coastline and the natural mountainous beauty of Snowdonia National Park. As a passionate lover of the great outdoors, he derives immense pleasure from hiking through the mountains and countryside, capturing picturesque scenes with sketches and photographs.
In 2004, he moved to China and has resided there ever since, pursuing a career as an English teacher. He currently teaches Western Contemporary Arts & Design Culture and Media Studies at the esteemed Sun-Yat-Sen University in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he organizes evening and weekend art classes for his students and arranges visits to local art galleries to inspire them and acquaint them with leading European and American contemporary artists and designers. He also aims to foster their understanding of Western arts and design history, as well as its important development and worldwide influence.
