JASON WAKEFIELD: THE POWER OF INTUITION

Jason’s career as a farrier has given him a strong background in working metal for a purpose, enabling him to channel this skill into his sculptures. Every bronze sculpture Jason creates is made by hand, bringing emotion and a strong message with each piece.

Being entirely self-taught to work with bronze, Jason is able to tap into his intuition when moving through the creative process. It was a past friendship with someone that changed his life and opened his eyes to what he was truly capable of. This person taught him to connect directly with his intuition in order to help him work in partnership with horses when shoeing rather than struggling to work on them when they resist. As a result, he’s able to engage with his creative side and he’s ready to share his message.

Through his work, Jason’s mission is to inspire you to expand your mind and consider what’s stopping you from reaching your true potential. His most striking piece, The Brain, shows the battle between the left and right side of the brain – the conscious and sub-conscious, the logical and creative. Jason is a firm believer that if you want to know something in this life, you will be shown and when you look closely at his sculptures, you’ll see the internal battle we all need to overcome to find inner peace.
