Frank writes in his book 'A Brush With Life',
“Then I went in as to speak to the person in charge and said I wanted to make some sketches. "You say you were born here?”, "That's what my mother said", "Would you like to see?”. He led me to this room which contained the Register, There it was Frank Sidney Smith born on 22nd of April 1928 and christened in that very Chapel.”
